Rehabilitation of a 5.4 km section of Darcheli-Ganmukhuri road was completed.

Darcheli-Ganmukhuri road is a connecting road to the village of Ganmukhuri and Black Sea coast, besides, freight and passenger transportations to the mentioned villages are being carried out using this road.

Mentioned road could not ensure the safe movement of vehicles under its technical specifications, since the road pavement was significantly damaged and surface water was flowing through the carriageway.

In order to solve these problems, complete rehabilitation of the road was carried out, namely, stabilized foundation, rammed cement concrete pavement, artificial structures, crossings, junctions with local roads, entrances to private yards, road signs were arranged. Besides, a new reinforced concrete bridge crossing was constructed. Horizontal marking of the carriageway and road encircling were carried out.

The project was financed by the state budget and its cost is GEL 2 675 571.
