A new bridge will be constructed at Dry Ravine, at km 113 of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi international road.

Design and building of construction-reconstruction works of the bridge are being carried out in parallel regimes in the village of Kobi, in Kazbegi Municipality.

Instead of existing bridge constructed in the 1980s, which was not subject to restoration, a new alternative bridge is being constructed, which will fully satisfy transportation needs. During construction of new bridge, movement on existing bridge will be carried out unilaterally.

At the moment, arrangement works of piles are ongoing on the bridge. Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Zurab Alavidze  inspected ongoing construction works.

Estimated cost of the project is GEL 4 550 000. Design-construction works started in October 2016 and will be completed in December 2017. A total of 20 people are employed in works.
