Based on information of Roads Department, Due to intensive snow, clear ice  and snow-storm  special regime are established at some sections of the roads. Relevant service units of Roads Department are performing road cleaning works for 24 hours.

Due to avalanche hazard and clear ice, traffic at km30-km71 section (Jvari-Khaishi) of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili road is forbidden for all modes of transport. Traffic at km72-km188 (Khaishi-Ushguli) is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 seats. Traffic is permitted by application of antiskid chains for other modes of transport. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axis.

Due to intensive snow and clear ice traffic at km20-km40 (Kumistavi-Ghvedi) of Kutaisi-Tskaltubo-Tsageri-Lentekhi-Lasdili road is forbidden for trailers and semi-trailers , traffic is  permitted by application of antiskid chains free for other modes of transport. Movement is free for vehicles with two or more main axis. Traffic is free at other sections of the road.

Due to clear ice and intensive snow traffic at km138-km158 (Chumateleti-Khunevi) of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze and km1-km50 section of Khashuri-Akhaltsikhe-Vale (the border of the Republic of Turkey) road is forbidden for trailers and semi-trailers, traffic is free for other modes of transport.

Due to intensive snow traffic at km1-km106 of Gomi-Sachkhere-Chiatura-Zestaponi road  is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 seats. Traffic is free for other modes of transport.

Due to avalanche hazard and clear ice, traffic at km35-km72 section (Nakerala Pass) of Kutaisi-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri road is forbidden for all modes of transport. Traffic at km10-km34 is forbidden for trailers and semi-trailers and for buses with more than 30 seats,  traffic is permitted for other modes of transport by application of antiskid chains. Movement is free for vehicles with two or more main axis. Traffic is free at other sections of the road.

Due to clear ice and intensive snow traffic at km1-km140 section of Pass Kutaisi-Alpana-Mamisoni and km16-km29 ( Dzevri-Tkibuli) of Cholabauri bridge-Terjola-Tkibuli is forbidden for trailers and semi-trailers and for buses with more than 30 seats. Movement for other modes of transport is permitted by application of antiskid chains. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axis.

Due to complicated meteorological conditions (intense snow, storm, snow drifts and clear ice), traffic  at km110-km146 (Rodionovka-Ninotsminda) section of Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda road and at km90-km112 (Ninotsminda-Armenian border) section of Akhaltsikhe-Ninotsminda road is permitted  by application of antiskid chains for trailers and semi-trailers. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axis.

In view of created circumstances, Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia urges population to use winter tyres, technically acceptable vehicles and follow traffic restrictions established on roads
