Based on information of Roads Department, Due to intensive snow, clear ice  and snow-storm  special regime are established at some Pass sections :

Due to intensive snow and clear ice traffic at km20-km40 (Kumistavi-Ghvedi) of Kutaisi-Tskaltubo-Tsageri-Lentekhi-Lasdili road is forbidden for trailers and semi-trailers .Traffic is free for other modes of transport.

Due to clear ice and intense snow  traffic at  km35-km72 section (Nakerala Pass) of Kutaisi-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri road, at km1-km22 of Alpana-Tsageri road and at km30-km188 (Jvari-Ushguli) section of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili road is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 seats. Traffic for other modes of transport  is permissible by application of antiskid chains. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axis. 

Due to complicated meteorological conditions (intense snow, storm, snow drifts and clear ice), traffic  at km110-km146 (Rodionovka-Ninotsminda) section of Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda road and at km90-km112 (Ninotsminda-Armenian border) section of Akhaltsikhe-Ninotsminda road is permitted  by application of antiskid chains for trailers and semi-trailers. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axis.

In view of created circumstances, Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia urges population to use winter tyres, technically acceptable vehicles and follow traffic restrictions established on roads.
