Rehabilitation of the 4 km section of Marneuli-Algeti-Azizkendi secondary road is going to the end. A total of 50 people were employed on rehabilitation works.

Rehabilitation section is located in Marneuli Municipality, it starts from the territory of Tazakendi village and ends at Azizkendi village. As a result of the project implementation, local residents, road users and transit transporters will be able to travel safely and comfortably with the renewed road.

Under the rehabilitation project the following works have been implemented: the carriageway, junctions with local roads, private yard entrances, bus stops and enclosed bus stops have been arranged. In addition, road signs, culverts, lower support walls of gabions and artificial structures have been arranged and horizontal marking works of the road have been carried out.

Deputy Chairman of Roads Department Givi Chochia has inspected implemented works.

The project was financed by the state budget and its cost amounted to GEL 1 499 999. Works started in August 2016.
