According to Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, road cleaning works are actively underway on Pasanauri-Gudauri section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road. Road cleaning works are started from Gudauri, at the first section of Gudauri-Kobi (km93-km99). The regime of avalanche hazard is remained on the second section of Gudauri-Kobi (km100-km106), where the commencement of road cleaning works is not yet possible. All necessary equipment is mobilized from the side of Kobi and after removal of avalanche hazard, road cleaning works will be started from both sides.

After improvement of weather conditions, traffic for stopping vehicles will be free as soon as possible.
