Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure enabled to open Gudauri-Kobi section for light vehicles by application of antiskid chains as a result of intensive cleaning works. Due to clear ice and intense snow traffic on Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and for buses with more than 30 seats, traffic for other type transport is permitted by application of antiskid chains. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axis.

As notified by the National Environmental Agency, movement at Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi section is admissible through the avalanche protection tunnels without stoppage.

Mentioned traffic regime will be enforced under direct supervision and coordination of Patrol Police.
