The Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia completed periodic repair works on the secondary access road to the tunnel of Kvareli Wine Cellar. Chairman of the Roads Department George Seturidze inspected completed works.

Under the project: restoration of damaged carriageway on 1.3 km road section was carried out, rehabilitation of artificial structures and works for arrangement of culverts, shoulders, junctions with the local roads and yard entrances for local residents were implemented.   

The mentioned road leads to the Kvareli Wine Cellar and is of particular importance in terms of tourism.

Periodic repair works started in August this year and its cost is GEL 865 643. The project was financed by the state budget.
