Chairman of the Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia George Seturidze inspected rehabilitation works of the 6 km section of Napareuli-Lapankuri road. 

The mentioned road connects the two villages of the Telavi Municipality - Napareuli and Lapankuri - with each other. Under the project: the carriageway and two bridges located in this section will be rehabilitated; culverts, bus stops and enclosed bus stops, crossings, junctions with local roads and yard entrances for the local residents will be arranged.

Implementation of the project is financed by the World Bank under the Third Secondary and Local Roads Project (SLRPIII) and its cost is GEL 2 893 795.13. Works started in May of this year and will be completed in 2017.
