Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia provides photo materials reflecting works of river bank protection works on river Norioskhevi in the village Norio.

Bank  protection works are actively ongoing on river Norioskhevi in the village Norio. Due to heavy rains, mentioned section had been flooded, which damaged houses of locals.

Under the project a new 132 meter long protection wall will  be  constructed in both side. After completion project problem will be solved and surrounding area will be protected ftom floods.

The project is funded from the state budget and costs 222 304  GEL and project will be completed at the end of the year.
