Chairman of the Roads Department of Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, George Seturidze inspected construction works of 12 km section  Tianeti-Zaridzeebi-Jinvali road.

Section undet construction of Tianeti-Zaridzeebi-Jinvali secondary road  passes through the villages in Tianeti and Dusheti municipality ( Zaridzeebi,Zemo Buchvinta, Verkhveli, Zemo Sharakhevi, Zenamkhari, Iarajulebi, Ivliantgori, Lakhato, Sakrechio, Kvemo Sharakhevi, Khoptsa, Jojeti, Pudznari and Bodavi). Road was badly damaged and only fragments of asphalt-concrete pavement had remained. Water avoiding system was malfunctioning.

Project considers construction of asphalt-concrete pavement, structures, reinforced-concrete pipes,  concrete supporting walls, gabions and 2 bridges. Also, arrangement of entrances to private yards, junctions to local roads, public transport stops and enclosed bus stops. Arrangement of road signs and marking of the carriageway.

Project is financed from the state budget and its cost is GEL 22 mln 408 thousands 691. Construction works started in May, 2014 and will be completed at the end of 2016.
