“Road Safety Awareness and Education Campaign – Make Our Roads Safe E 60” will be held in “Tbilisi Rooms Hotel” on April 25, at 11:00 am.

The project represents one of the components in a strategy of harmonization of the international transit corridor through Georgia – E 60 highway with the European standards and its goal is to achieve high road safety standards.

The event will be attended by Nodar Javakhishvili - Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, representatives of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Ministry of Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, Roads Department of Georgia, the World Bank and non-governmental organizations.

Within the frameworks of project and with the support of the World Bank there is planned an educational campaign. The necessary information about road safety awareness and education shall be provided to various target audiences.

The project “Road Safety Awareness and Education Campaign - Make our Roads Safe E 60” is being implemented by the organization – fund “Partnership for Road Safety”, selected through tender by the Roads Department of Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia.
