Deputy Chairman of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Irakli Khergiani inspected periodic repair works at Rikoti Pass.

Along mentioned section of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze road are situated densely populated villages: Khevi,Khunevi,Vertkvichala,Boriti, Ubisa, Shrosha,Tseva and Shorapani. Under the project road base works  and rehabilitation of asphalt-concrete pavement have been done. Also, existing culverts, ditches,gabions, supporting walls and road signs were arranged.

Project is nearly completion, horizontal marking is remained.

Contract value is GEL 359 000. It was financed from the state budget.
