Deputy Chairman of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Irakli Khergiani inspected rehabilitation works of existing bridge over the river Noghela.

The bridge is located in Samegrelo region and it is a part of Khoni-Matkhoji-Martvili road. Bridge was built in  60^th of the last century. Under the project sidewalks would be upgraded; washed foundation would be changed, arrangement of reinforced-concrete slabs with curbs and railings. Riverbed will cleaned and regulation stone mound would be provided.

Currently, rehabilitation of bridge deck and temporary road construction are ongoing.

Project is financed from the state budget and its cost is GEL 422 200.  Rehabilitation works will be completed in  summer of the current year.
