Based on information of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia , due to clear ice and intense snow traffic on Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and for buses with more than 30 seats. Traffic is free for other mode of transport.

As notified by National Environmental Agency, traffic on Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi section is admissible through the avalanche protection tunnels without stoppage.

Stoppage of vehicles is not allowed during movement along Stepantsminda- Larsi section.
