Based on information of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Due to glaze ice and avalanche  hazard traffic is forbidden for all mode of transport at km173-km188 (Kala-Ushguli) of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili. Traffic at km100-km173 (Lakhamura-Kala) section of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili road is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 seats. Movements is free for other type of transport at km1-km138 (Zugdidi-Mestia) section and movement is permitted by application of antiskid chains at km138-km173 (Mestia-Kala) section. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axis.

Traffic is free at km1-km100 (Zugdidi-Lakhamula) section.

            Because of intensive snow and avalanche hazard traffic traffic is forbidden for all mode of transport at Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road. Traffic on Mleta-Gudauri section is possible by application of antiskid chains and movement is free to Gudauri.

Following restrictions are established on different sections of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road:

• Due to clear ice and intense snow traffic on Aragvispiri- Gudauri-Larsi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and for buses with more than 30 seats
• for other vehicles movement is free at Aragvispiri-Gudauri and Kobi-Larsi section.
• Traffic is free for vehicles with two or main axis at Aragvispiri-Gudauri and Kobi-Larsi section
• Stoppage of vehicles is not allowed during movement along Stepantsminda- Larsi section.
