Traffic is resumed for trailers on Gudauri-Kobi section

Based on information of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, as a result of intensive cleaning works traffic is resumed on Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road for trailers and semi-trailers.

Currently special restrictions are established on different sections of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road:

Due to snow, frost and clear ice, traffic on Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road is permitted by application of antiskid chains. Movement is free for vehicles with two or more main axis. Traffic on respective section is admissible through the avalanche protection tunnels without stoppage.
One-way traffic is allowed in tunnel for trailers, semi-trailers and for buses with more than 30 seats;
Stoppage of vehicles is not allowed during movement along Stepantsminda- Larsi road.

Due to snow and clear ice traffic at km138-km157 (Chumateleti-Khunevi) section of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze road is forbidden for trailers and semi-trailers but movement is free for other vehicles. Traffic is free on other sections of this road.
