Based on information of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, as a result of cleaning works traffic is resumed on Tbilisi-Bakurtsikhe-Lagodekhi road, Gomi-Sachkhere-Chiatura road and Tbilisi bypass road for trailers and semi-trailers and movement is free for all mode of transport.

Movement on central roads of Guria is maintained as a result of continued cleaning works which have been progressing during the whole night in the conditions of heavy snow. One-way traffic is resumed on secondary Ozurgeti-Lesa and Shukhuti-Dzimiti roads whereon road widening works are underway.

Restrictions on other roads:

Cleaning works are underway during 24 hours in all directions. Representatives of Supervision Unit of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia carry out on-site coordination and monitoring of ongoing cleaning works. 

In view of created circumstances, Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia urges population to use winter tyres, technically acceptable vehicles and follow traffic restrictions established on roads.
