As notified by National Environmental Agency, traffic is forbidden for all mode of transport on Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road due to avalanche hazard.

Due to snow and clear ice, movement on Aragvispiri- Gudauri (Posta) and Kobi-Larsi sections is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and for buses with more than 30 seats. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axis on Aragvispiri- Gudauri and Kobi-Larsi sections. For other vehicles movement on Mleta- Gudauri (Posta) section is allowed by application of antiskid chains, but   on Aragvispiri- Mleta and Kobi-Larsi sections is free.

Stoppage of vehicles is not allowed during movement along km134-km135 section (Dariali gorge).
