Based on information of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, due to heavy snow and clear ice movement on Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road for trailers, semi-trailers and for buses with more than 30 seats is allowed by application of antiskid chains, but for other vehicles movement is  free.

As notified by the National Environmental Agency, movement on Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi section is admissible through the avalanche protection tunnels without stoppage.

Restrictions are also established on the following road sections:

Due to snow and clear ice, traffic at km100-km188 (Lakhamura-Ushguli) section of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili road is free for vehicles with two or more main axis, but movement for other vehicles is permitted by application of antiskid chains. Traffic is free at km1-km99 (Zugdidi-Lakhamura) section for all mode of transport.

Due to complicated meteorological conditions (snow-storm and limited visibility), traffic at km94-km110 (Nardevani-Rodionovka (Paravani)) section of Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda road is forbidden for all mode of transport.
