Due to snow and clear ice movement on Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and for buses with more than 30 seats. Traffic  is free for vehicles with two or more main axis, but for other mode of transport movement is permitted by application of antiskid chain.

As notified by the National Environmental Agency, movement at Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi section is admissible through the avalanche protection tunnels without stoppage.
