Based on information of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, avalanche hazard is eliminated on Kala-Ushguli section and cleaning works are implemented; by this time traffic is resumed. Special traffic restrictions are established on Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili road due to snow and glaze ice:  traffic is free at km100-km188 (Lakhamura-Ushguli) section for vehicles with two or more main axis, but movement for other vehicles is permitted by application of antiskid chains. Traffic is free at km1-km99 (Zugdidi-Lakhamura) section for all mode of transport.

Special restrictions are established on two road sections to ensure passengers’ safety:

Traffic on Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road is permitted by application of antiskid chains.  Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axis.

Based on information provided by National Environmental Agency of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, movement on Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road is allowed uninterruptedly through avalanche protection tunnels. One-way traffic is allowed in tunnels for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 seats.

Due to complicated meteorological conditions (snow-storm and limited visibility), traffic at km94-km110 (Nardevani-Rodionovka (Paravani)) section of Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda road is forbidden for all types of transport.
