Based on information of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, road leading to Gudauri is free by this time. Cleaning works have already been started on Gudauri-Kobi section and traffic would be resumed before the end of the day.  

Herewith, we would like to notify that due to heavy snow and glaze ice, movement at  Aravispiri-Gudauri(Posta) and Kobi-Larsi  sections of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and buses more than 30 seats. Traffic is free for other type of transport on Aragvispiri-Gudauri(Posta) and Kobi-Larsi sections.

Relevant divisions of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia are mobilized on site and Kobi-Gudauri section will be fully cleaned by the end of the day.
