Based on information of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, by this time traffic on  Gudauri-Kobi section is resumed as a result of intensive cleaning works, which have started upon removal of avalanche hazard.

Special restrictions are established on mentioned road section to ensure passengers’ safety:

Due to snow and glaze ice, movement at  Aravispiri-Gudauri-Larsi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-larsi road is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and for buses with more than 30 seats, but for other mode of transport movement at Gudauri-Kobi  section is permitted by application of antiskid chains. Traffic on Aragvispiri-Gudauri(Posta) section and Kobi-Larsi section is free. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axis.

Traffic is resumed at km 206 of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze international road and is diverted to the central highway.

Mentioned road served as a temporary bypass road and it is damaged due to raise of Chkhara River. By this time traffic has been diverted to Zestaponi-Baghdati-Kutaisi road.

Special traffic conditions are still affective on the following road sections:

Avalanche hazard, caused by intense rains, resulted in closing of km173-km188(Kala-Ushguli) section of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili road  for all mode of transport. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axis at km70-km172(Khaishi-Kala) section of mentioned road. Traffic for other type of transport is permitted by application of antiskid chains, but traffic is free at km1-km69(Zugdidi-Khaishi) section.

As a result of cleaning works regime of application of antiskid chains is removed at km37-km57(Tkibuli-Nikortsminda) section of Kutaisi-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri road, movement is restricted for trailers, semi-trailers and buses more than 30 seats due to snow and glaze ice. Traffic is free for other mode of transport.

Due to complicated meteorological conditions (snow-storm and limited visibility), traffic at km94-km110 (Nardevani-Rodionovka (Paravani)) section of Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda road is forbidden for all types of transport
