Based on information provided by Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, avalanche hazard, caused by intense rains, resulted in closing of km173-km188(Kala-Ushguli) of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili road for all mode of transport. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axis at km30-km172 (Jvari-Kala) section of the mentioned road. Traffic for other type of transport is permitted by application of antiskid chains, but traffic is free at km1-km29 (Zugdidi-Jvari) section.
