According to the information provided by Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, as a result of intensive cleaning works traffic is free for all mode of transport at km1-km140 of Kutaisi-Alpana-Mamisoni pass, at km1-km135 section of Kutaisi-Tskaltubo-Tsageri-Lentekhi-Lasdili road and at km20-km30 of Akhalkhalaki-Kartsakhi (border of Turkish Republic) road.

Because of heavy snow, river raise and glaze ice, special traffic restrictions are established on  the following 4 road sections:

Traffic is permitted by application of antiskid chains on Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili and Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road whereon special restrictions are established to ensure passengers’ safety:

Due to heavy snow and glaze ice movement at km30-km188(Jvari-Ushguli) of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili road is free for vehicles with two or more main axis. Traffic for other type of transport is permitted by application of antiskid chains. Traffic is free for all mode of transport at km1-km29 section of mentioned road.

Movement at  Aravispiri-Gudauri-Larsi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and for buses with more than 30 seats, but for other mode of transport movement at Mleta i-Kobi  section is permitted by application of antiskid chain. Movement on Aragvispiri-Mleta section and Kobi-Larsi section is free. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axis.

Due to increase of water level in Chkhara river at km206 of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze international road, temporary bypass road is damaged, therefore traffic is forbidden for all mode of transport. Traffic flows are diverted to to Zestaponi-Baghdati-Kutaisi road; movement on this alignment is forbidden for trailers and semi-trailers.

Movement at  km37-km71(Tkibuli-Ambrolauri) section of Kutaisi-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri road is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and for buses with more than 30 seats. Traffic at km37-km50(Nakerala pass) is permitted by application of antiskid chains and traffic on km50-km71 section is free. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axis.  

Due to complicated meteorological conditions-heavy snow, storm and limited visibility traffic is forbidden only at km110-km146 (Rodionovka-Ninotsminda) section of Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda road to ensure passengers’ safety.
