According to the information provided by Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, traffic restrictions established on international and secondary roads due to heavy snow are minimized. All main roads in West Georgia, namely in Samegrelo and Imereti, are cleaned and free for traffic.

Traffic is free for all mode of transport at Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze road.

Traffic was complicated on Vaziani-Gombori-Telavi road, but at this time traffic is free.

Traffic is free at Tbilisi-Bakurtsikhe-Lagodekhi road (Armenian border).  

Due to heavy snow and glaze ice, special restrictions are established on the following road sections:

Movement on Aravispiri-Larsi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and for buses with more than 30 seats, but for other mode of transport movement on Mleta-Gudauri(Posta)  section is permitted by application of antiskid chain. Movement on Aragvispiri-Mleta section and Kobi-Larsi sections is free. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or  more main axis.

Traffic is free at km1-km37 section of Kutaisi-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri road (Kutaisi-Tkibuli section).

Traffic at km37-km50 (Naqerala pass) is permitted by application of antiskid chains, but movement at km50-km71 is free. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or  more main axis.

Because of snow and glaze ice, traffic at km30-km70 (Jvari-Khaishi) of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili road is free for vehicles with two or more main axis. Traffic is forbidden for other mode of transport. Movement at km71-km188(Khaishi-Ushguli) section is permitted by application of antiskid chains. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axis.

Due to complicated meteorological conditions (heavy snow, storm and limited visibility) traffic is forbidden on the following road sections to ensure passengers safety:

Traffic at km110-km146 (Rodionovka-Ninotsminda) section of Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda road is forbidden for all types of transport.

Traffic at km90-km112(Ninotsminda-Armenian border) section of Akhalkalaki-Ninotsminda road is forbidden for all types of transport.

Traffic is forbidden for all mode of transport at km20-km30 of Akhalkalaki-Kartsakhi road (border of Turkey).

Representatives of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia are implementing cleaning works across the country within 24 hours.
