Based on information provided by Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, traffic is restored at Gudauri -Kobi road. Traffic was restricted at mentioned section at late night due to strong storm, snow drifts and limited visibility. Roads Department resumed cleaning works today morning and enabled to restore movement. 

By that time, following traffic restrictions are established on Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road:

Due to heavy snow and glaze ice, movement at Mleta-Dariali gorge section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 seats.

Traffic on Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi section is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 seats, but for other vehicles movement  is allowed by application of antiskid chains.

Traffic is free at Mleta-Gudauri(Posta) and Kobi-Larsi sections.

Movement at Gudauri (Posta) - Kobi section is allowed uninterruptedly through avalanche protection tunnels. Stoppage of vehicles is not allowed during movement along km134-km135 section (Dariali gorge).

Mentioned traffic regime will be enforced under direct supervision and coordination of Patrol Police. Traffic is free at other sections of the road. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axis.

Due to heavy snow, traffic at km147-km188 (Mulakhi-Ushguli) section of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili road is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 seats. Traffic is free for other transport.

Due to complicated meteorological conditions (snow-storm, snow-drift, limited visibility), traffic at km94-km110 (Nardevani-Rodionovka (Paravani)) section of Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda road is forbidden for all types of transport.
