Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia provides photo materials reflecting shore protection works of Khanistskali riverbed in Baghdati municipality village Dimi, in the category of weekly pictures gallery.

Shore protection works of riverbed Khanistskali in Baghdati municipality village Dimi are completed.

Landslide resulting from the floods characteristic to river Khanistskali posed a hazard to houses of local population, homestead lands and church.

As a solution to mentioned problem it was decided to construct berm with boulders thus enabling protection of 185m riverbank. Such type of structure for shore protection is durable and even in landslide areas, makes continued renewal possible.

Cost of the project is 188,5 thousand Gel and it is financed from the state budget.
