According to the information of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, due to heavy snow, snow-storm and limited visibility the traffic at Gudauri (Posta) – Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road was forbidden late at night for all types of transport.

Representatives of Roads Department were performing the clearing works all night long. As a result, traffic has been restored with some restrictions.

Based on the regime effective at the moment, due to ice formation the movement is allowed by application of antiskid chains. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axis.

Mentioned traffic regime will be enforced under direct supervision and coordination of Patrol Police.
