Chkherimela River washed out the bottom reinforced-concrete retaining wall at km 24 of Dzirula-Kharagauli-Moliti-Pona-Chumateleti road, near Marelisi village. That resulted in deformation of wall, collapse and narrowing of the carriageway. Representatives of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia are working in place of disaster. Damaged section of the road is delineated for traffic safety. Traffic is maintained on one lane of the road till now. Slope strengthening with reinforced-concrete tiles shall start from the morning.
