Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia shall complete  rehabilitation of 6 km Akhalkalaki-Noste-Mtiultubani section before  due time.

Asphalt-concrete pavement is already constructed and main works are done on mentioned section.  At this stage arrangement of public transport stops and road signs are ongoing.

Asphalt pavement has never been laid on mentioned section. Four villages: (Akhalkalaki, Akhaltsikhe, Noste and Mtiultubani) are connected with each other and with the central highway through respective road.
