In an attempt to obtain a contract the cases of:  falsification of evidence of experience relevant to the bidding documents, evidence of financial condition and proof of personnel qualification or other information; creation noncompetitive environment artificially during participating in the State procurement process; getting advantage by misleading the Employer, became frequent by the companies participating in the biddings announced by Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia for the construction, periodic repair and rehabilitation of road infrastructure.

For prevention purposes, Roads Department of Georgia reminds organizations willing to procure road works, that any attempt of this type is a deliberate illegal act. Also, Roads Department warns that in similar cases dishonest bidder shall be registered in the register of dishonest bidders – “ Black List”, shall be deprived of right of participating in the state procurements for a period of one year, the amount retained as a bid security shall not be returned  - 1% of the estimated bid price (in case of international tenders sanctions considered by the policy of donor organizations  shall be applied) and shall be imposed responsibility relevant to the gravity of illegal act. 

Roads Department of Georgia urges all persons and organizations participating in the biddings to act legally and in good faith to implement construction or rehabilitation projects without delays and in a quality manner, and not to face legal problems.
