Training was held at Tsinandali public school under the “Road Safety Awareness and Education Campaign”. Training was attended by representatives of Roads Department and Patrol Police.

School children had opportunity to become familiar with theoretical materials as well as hands-on cases prepared especially for them.

“Road Safety Awareness and Education Campaign” of Roads Department in Kakheti Region is being implemented with the World Bank’s financial support by nongovernmental organization - the foundation “Partnership for Road Safety”.

The campaign aims at increasing awareness of various public groups and their involvement in improvement of traffic safety.

The Campaign continues in Kakheti region. Trainings will be held for school children on safe movement along the roads, speed related risks, application of safety belts and impact of alcohol. Practical situations related to traffic safety will be also arranged.
