Chairman of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia Vazha Panchulidze observed progress of bridge construction at Kobuleti Bypass road.

Cast-in-situ reinforced concrete works are ongoing at Dekhva bridges (480 m and 470 m long). As to the bridge constructing over the river Chakvistskali, length of which is 920 m, installation of portable framework is at completion stage. Construction of cast-in-situ reinforced concrete span by application of mentioned method is implemented in Georgia for the first time.

Two tunnels are under construction at Kobuleti Bypass road (Lot 2). Construction of culverts and underpasses, also earthworks are at completion stage. 

Design envisages construction of asphalt-concrete pavement on 18.9 km section, 16 bridges, among them 7 overpasses, 2 tunnels and 64 culverts.
