Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia is rehabilitating 5.6 km section of secondary Tskaltubo-Partskhanakanevi road in Imereti. The works progress was observed by the First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Giorgi Amashukeli and Chairman of Roads Department Vazha Panchulidze.

At this stage, the earth works are ongoing. The project envisages restoration of the pavement. It is also planned to clean the existing channels, to construct ditches, gabions, junctions, entrances to private yards, sidewalks, bus stops, enclosed bus stops and road signs.

Mentioned section will connect adjacent two villages – Ternala and Maglaka not only with Tskaltubo, but also with the highway and different cities and regions of Georgia. About 80 people are employed for the works. The project is financed from the state budget and its value amounts to GEL 3,225,000.
