Currently traffic is restricted only at Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi section, where heavy snow is expected and danger of  avalanche still exists. Movement at mention section is forbidden for all mode of transport.

Restrictions also apply to km36-km72 (Tkibuli-Ambrolauri) section of Kutaisi-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri road, wherein movement is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 seats, but traffic is free for other vehicles.
