According to information provided by the National Environmental Agency, movement at Gudauri (Posta) - Kobi section is allowed till 6 PM and is forbidden for all types of transport during the other time of day. Based on decision of Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, traffic at mentioned section should be uninterrupted and conducted only through avalanche protection tunnels. Traffic is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 sits.

Due to heavy snow, movement at Gudauri (Posta)-Kobi-Larsi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road is allowed by application of antiskid chains. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axis. Traffic is forbidden for trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 sits.

It is not allowed to stop the vehicles during the movement along km134-km135 section of mentioned road (Dariali gorge).

Mentioned traffic regime will be enforced under direct supervision and coordination of Patrol Police.

Traffic is free at other sections of the road, including Tbilisi-Gudauri direction.
