The Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has opened traffic on both sides for all kinds of vehicles with anti-skid chains on Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road of Mleta-Larsi section which had been closed due to heavy snowfall since January 6.

Currently, those trucks that had been stuck due to road closure are passing from Kobi towards Gudauri. After the motorcade passes the aforementioned road section, traffic for trucks will reopen towards Russia as well. Safe transportation is ensured by the Roads Department of Georgia together with Patrol Police.
