Movement shall be restricted at Senaki-Poti (km1-km13) section of International Senaki-Poti-Sarpi road (Border of Turkey) due to ongoing rehabilitation works. Traffic shall be diverted to km301-km313 (Khobi city) of Tbilisi-Senaki-Leselidze road and secondary Chaladidi-Khorga-Khobi road.

Rehabilitation of mentioned section started in November 2014 and will be completed in November 2015.

Design envisages: strengthening of roadbed with piles and geotextile. Bridge existing over the channel shall be rehabilitated. Base will be constructed by recycling method and two-layer asphalt-concrete pavement shall be arranged. Also, works related to arrangement of culverts, gabions, supporting walls, entrances to the private yards, enclosed bus stops, pedestrian sidewalks, concrete parapets, road signs and horizontal road marking shall be undertaken.
