Due to heavy snow and avalanche hazards movement of all type of vehicles is forbidden at km173-km188 (Kala-Ushguli) section of Zugdidi-Jvari-Mestia-Lasdili road. Movement of trailers, semi-trailers and buses with more than 30 sits is forbidden at km30-km173 (Jvari-Kala) section. Traffic at km1-km70 is free for all other type of transport and at km71-km173 is allowed by application of antiskid chains. Traffic is free for vehicles with two or more main axis.
