​​​Pasanauri-Mleta road section will open in the nearest future

The Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia has started cleansing of Pasanauri-Mleta section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi motorway. The works launched after The National Environmental Agency removed avalanche danger regime. With the regime change cleansing works will start in the direction of Mleta-Gudauri as well.
Currently, everyone stuck on the road due to blizzard in Ninotsminda municipality is withdrawn. The appropriate services are pulling away cars step by step as well. Due to intensive snowfall in the region, traffic movement is restricted in the direction of Ninotsminda-Armenia border and Ninotsminda-Paravani.
Restrictions are in force in the direction of Khaishi-Mestia, however appropriate equipment has been operating all night on this road section.
The Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and the Roads Department of Georgia are mobilized to eradicate any delays on the roads caused by heavy snowfall.
