Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure and Roads Department of Georgia completed river coast protection works (1.2 km section) in the village Bodbiskhevi, Sighnaghi municipality.

Within the frameworks of the project the dismantling of the old sections, also, arrangement by reinforced concrete construction of the coasts and the bottom of the river was carried out.

The coast protection works have not been undertaken since the 70s in this village. There were damaged both banks of the rural river, and there was the danger of flooding of the houses of locals.  In the near future, implementation of the remainder coast protection works and rehabilitation of the road section is planned, after which the problem will be solved.
