Due to heavy snow, traffic at Gudauri(Posta)-Mtskheta-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road is according to winter standards.

Embassies of all countries, which conduct transit traffic through Georgia, are notified about traffic restrictions. Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Roads Department once again appeal to the representations of the countries and persons, who use Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road to obey established traffic restrictions for their own safety.

At this stage, according to established restrictions, traffic for all mode of transport at Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi section of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi road is permissible by application of antiskid chains. Traffic for tandem-drive vehicles is free. 

As notified by the National Environmental Agency of the Ministry of Environment Protection and Natural Resources of Georgia, movement at Gudauri(Posta)-Kobi section is admissible without stoppage through the avalanche protection tunnels. One-way traffic is allowed for trailers, semi-trailers and for buses with more than 30 seats in tunnels. 

Stoppage of vehicles is forbidden at km134-km135 of respective section (Dariali gorge).  Traffic movement shall be under direct supervision and coordination of the Patrol Police. 

Relevant units of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia and Roads Department are working continuously and cleaning works are in progress.
