Traffic on Chakvi-Makhinjauri highway is restored. As a result of intensive works carried out by Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, Chakvi-Kobuleti highway is cleansed from landslide debris and traffic flow is restored.
Due to heavy rainfall landslide occurred on the highway near tunnels. Approximately 20-
30 thousand cubic meter land mass collapsed and blocked the traffic flow. All the relevant government agencies were  mobilized on the spot. Cleansing works were carried out by the roads department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure with 20 units of equipment and 70 road workers.
