Public consultation on construction of a new Chkhera bridge at km125 of Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi international road was held at the administrative building of Kazbegi Municipality.

The meeting was organized by Roads Department and the aim was to share information with project affected people. Representatives of Roads Department introduced Environmental Impact Assessment document to local population and received feedback. Local population had opportunity to express their opinions on planned works within 45 days after the information disclosure. Project is financed by the State budget.

Environment impact assessment is undertaken before commencement of construction works and concerned parties are able to review document and give feedback.
