Today, Chairman of Roads Department Vazha Panchulidze visited Ruisi-Agara section that is under construction and carried out monitoring of progressing works with Deputy General Director and other officials of Construction Company “China Nuclear Industry 23 Construction”.  Reconstruction-Modernization of Ruisi-Agara section of E-60 highway considers construction of 19 km road. More than 500 persons are working during 24 hours in two shifts. Main works related to arrangement of road base is completed. 36 reinforced concrete culverts, 6 underpasses 34 bridges are constructed. At this stage laying of concrete pavement, construction of 4 bridges and 5 underpasses are underway.  Construction of bridge over the river Ptsa is completed, but installation of beams at the river Proni is underway. Asphalt-concrete pavement is constructed on 6.8 km section. Project cost amounts to GEL 70 mln. Donor organization is the World Bank. 70% of employed persons are local population, major part of them are residents of adjacent villages.
