Representatives of Roads Department held in borough Chakvi public consultation on Environmental Management Plan (EMP) for construction of the last 2 km of Kobuleti Bypass road. The meeting was conducted at the administrative building of Chakvi municipal government. 

Public consultation on Environmental Management Plan for construction of km16+500-km18+860 (2.05) section of Kobuleti Bypass road is held within the road corridor investment program. The aim of the meeting is to share information with project affected people.

The meeting was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Environment Protection, Design Company and  Kobuleti Municipality, also local population. Representatives of RD introduced environment impact assessment document to local population, who did not express any comments.  

Environment impact assessment is undertaken before the commencement of construction and concerned parties are given opportunity to review document and give feedback.
