Today, the Prime - Minister Irakli Garibashvili nominated Davit Shavliashvili to the position of the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure.  

During nomination of the substitute for Elguja Khokrishvili, Prime- Minister stated - "Davit Shavliashvili is a lawyer by profession, he has taken courses in international management and has a good experience as a manager. He is very active, energetic and a good manager. He was a Chairman of Roads Department of Georgia till now and successfully led the agency. I believe that he will be a very successful minister."

Davit Shavliashvili, nominated to the position of the Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure, expressed his gratitude to the head of the Government for displayed confidence and stated that he will continue working on such a responsible position with accelerated pace. Davit Shavliashvili was the Chairman of Roads Department from April 2013 till now.
