Main part of rehabilitation works on 13 km Tbilisi bypass road is completed. Project was implemented by “State Construction Company” Ltd and 100 persons were engaged in rehabilitation works. Project cost amounts to GEL 11,171.4 thousand.

km21-km34 section of Tbilisi Bypass road is a part of 48 km long road and its technical condition couldn’t meet modern standards of international road.

Road Rehabilitation started in September 2013 and 40% of the project was implemented last year.

Rehabilitation project envisaged upgrading of 13 km section and capital repair of 7 bridges; Also, arrangement of junctions to local roads, marking of the carriageway with white nitrocellulose enamel, installation of road signs and arrangement of lower retaining walls with gabions.
